VFX Senior Thesis: Finalization of Crown & Chalice Shot

Concept:

An episode opening sequence for a television series based off of an unpublished novel series by Scarlette Masons, "The Elemental Kingdom Chronicles"


This Update Blog:

Camera tracking, animation, and environmental integration for all CG shots as worked on.

02/15:

  • Filmed shots for reference and camera-tracking for a more realistic fall of the crown and chalice in the throne room.

Moving Forward:

  • Camera Tracking

  • Cleaned animation

  • Exporting of camera into Unreal Engine for environment

  • Wine simulation in Houdini

  • Rendering, Compositing, and Integration of all elements
